Veri Practical for a Balcony in Cheltenham

In Cheltenham 3192, we recently completed a refined window furnishings project featuring a wall-to-wall Veri Shade installation. The system was carefully measured and installed across a large window and adjoining door that opens onto a balcony. Our customer was looking for a solution that balanced soft, elegant aesthetics with practical light and privacy control, without overwhelming the space. For this reason, Privacy in Frost, with its crisp white hue, was the ideal fabric choice.

At first glance, the finished result is often mistaken for a wavefold sheer curtain, thanks to its continuous fabric vanes and gentle drape. However, behind this soft appearance lies a highly versatile hybrid system.

A Seamless Fit for Balcony Living

One of the standout aspects of this installation was the way it seamlessly connected the interior living space with the outdoor balcony area. The wall-to-wall application ensured there were no visual breaks, enhancing the sense of height and width across the room. At an angle, the vanes provide precise control over privacy without sacrificing the airy feel that makes sheer window furnishings so popular in contemporary homes. Best of all, there’s no need to push the shades off to one side to use the doorway in the middle! You can walk right through them, hassle free, to enjoy fresh air and leafy views.
