Roman to the Rescue in Sandringham

The Priority is Privacy
In this recent project completed in Sandringham 3191, we were engaged to enhance a compact bedroom study that faced a common residential challenge – privacy. The space featured a direct sightline into a neighbouring window, making it difficult for the client to feel fully comfortable using the room throughout the day.
Without adequate screening, the room felt exposed, which not only impacted privacy but also made it harder to relax and concentrate while using the desk. By introducing a tailored window furnishing solution, we were able to create a more enclosed and focused environment, helping reduce visual distractions from outside and allowing the client to better settle into their workspace and maintain productivity throughout the day.
A Stylish Little Number
Beyond addressing privacy concerns, the Roman blind now plays an important design role within the space. The blind was made using from Nettex’s Ghana fabric in Moss. The textured weave of the fabric adds depth and softness, elevating the overall feel of the study without overwhelming it. The deep, earthy green tone was carefully selected to add a pop of colour to the room’s existing palette. The colour also brings a calming, organic presence that works particularly well in a working or reading environment.
This project is a reminder that no job is too small for Fabric Creations. Whether it’s a single Roman blind or a full-home window furnishing solution, we approach every installation with the same level of care, precision, and design consideration.
