Seamless Silver Sheers in Bentleigh East

Earlier this year, we completed a refined window furnishing project in Bentleigh East 3165, creating a cohesive solution that complements the home’s existing architecture and beautifully crafted interiors. We took a very design-first approach for the whole job so as to honour the brilliant choices already made by our customers. The pictures can hardly do the outcome justice for this one!

Reading the Lines of the Room

A standout feature of the project was the extensive use of custom-bent curtain tracks, which became a signature element throughout the home. In the dining area, the track was carefully shaped to follow the exact contour of the bay window, creating a seamless curve that allowed the sheer wavefold curtains to sit perfectly within the space. This attention to detail ensured the window treatment enhanced the architectural form of the room while maintaining a clean, tailored finish.

The same bespoke approach was carried through into the study and lounge areas, where additional custom-bent tracks were installed to complement the unique layouts of each space. Rather than relying on standard straight tracks, these tailored solutions were designed specifically for the home, reinforcing the sense of craftsmanship and individuality throughout the interiors. This created the best configuration to showcase sheer wavefold curtains, which were made in Zepel’s Allusion Silver, selected for its soft texture and contemporary finish. The elegant drapery works seamlessly alongside the built-in millwork, adding warmth and sophistication while allowing natural light to filter through the living spaces.

Motorised blinds for everyday comfort

To complete the window treatments, every window was fitted with motorised blockout roller blinds, providing privacy, light control, and improved comfort throughout the home. The blinds were crafted using Shaw’s Icon fabric in Solar, a versatile selection that delivers a modern aesthetic while offering practical performance.

The roller blinds are powered by Acmeda’s Automate motors, providing effortless operation and a streamlined finish with no visible cords or controls. This combination of smart functionality and carefully selected materials ensures the home’s window furnishings are both visually refined and easy to use.
