The Perfect Sleep Environment in Cranbourne

In Cranbourne 3977, we recently completed a tailored window furnishings project designed to ensure sweet dreams in a nursery and a child’s bedroom. Both rooms required a solution that would not only complement the interior style but also provide effective, reliable blockout performance for day and night use.

Rooms That Speak for Themselves

For this installation, the selected fabric was Shaw’s Vibe in Cloud, a soft and versatile neutral. This is a choice that doesn’t take away from the fun design of each room, offering a casual backdrop to their charming aesthetics. The consistency of colour across both rooms helped create a cohesive feel throughout the home, while still allowing each space their own playful theme and personality.

Sweet Dreams Are Made of This

To ensure maximum light control, we installed a roller blinds with full cassette system. This included a top box, side channels, and a bottom channel, all working together to significantly reduce light gaps around the edges of the blind. This system is effective in bedrooms where darkness is essential, especially for young children who require uninterrupted sleep during both daytime naps and overnight rest. The side channels guide the fabric smoothly while sealing the edges, and the bottom channel completes the enclosure to prevent light leakage from below. The top cassette neatly houses the blind when retracted, maintaining a clean and streamlined appearance.

The result is a highly functional, visually clean solution that delivers on both performance and design. Best of all, Mum and Dad can now rest easy knowing their little ones are resting even easier.
