Layered Elegance: A Pink-on-Pink Bedroom Wonderland in Hampton
Hampton 3188
Velvet Block-out Drapes
Sheer Curtains
We recently completed a refined window furnishings installation in a main bedroom in Hampton (3188), where the brief centred on creating a sophisticated pink-on-pink palette. The design needed to balance softness and depth while maintaining practical light control and privacy. Through layered treatments combining sheer curtains and block-out drapery, we achieved a tailored, cohesive result that enhances the lux feeling of the space.
Layered Softness with Contrast
We installed a sheer made of Nettex Bali in Pearl, selected for its delicate translucency and soft textured finish. Positioned closest to the glazing, it filters natural light while maintaining daytime privacy. In front, we layered a full-height wavefold drape made of Linia Theodora in Rouge, a rich, deep raspberry velvet. The wavefold heading creates consistent sculptural folds, allowing the fabric’s weight and depth to be expressed in a clean, architectural finish.
The Berry on Top
The deep raspberry tone of the velvet was key in tying together the room’s pink-on-pink scheme, adding contrast and richness against the softer blush tones throughout the interior. Rather than overwhelming the space, it anchors the palette and brings definition to the window wall. The combination of sheer layering and bold textile choice ensures the room feels both light-filled and grounded, with a sense of calm luxury carried through every detail.
