In August, we completed a stunning window furnishing project for a home in Hampton (3188). Our client wanted a window covering that offered softness, texture, and practicality, while also enhancing the overall style of their interior. Our Client chose the Maurice Kain Mornington Silver Gull, a fabric featuring a beautiful bottlebrush-inspired native print in muted silver and grey tones. Above-Frame Installation for a Clear View

Roman blinds are a timeless choice, adding both structure and warmth to a space. They fold neatly when raised and create a soft, layered look when lowered. For this project, we installed the blinds above the window frame. This installation method was chosen so that when the blinds are fully open, the top stack clears the window entirely, allowing an uninterrupted view outside. It also creates the effect of taller windows, adding to the sense of openness in the room.
